The Aleutian Living Home Design Competion is the second annual design project put on by the Living Building Challenge.
This project closely resembled my Thesis project in that it dealt with the LBC and also involved a budget. This time limited to $400,000 for the full building.
The site is plagued with poor solar access and viscious prevailing winds. The resulting building harnassed the wind for power generation and utilized the only viable sun to the East.
